We are looking at the life of Joseph and his troubled family in the book of Genesis. Joseph stayed faithful to God during the most difficult times of his life. His brothers kept their wicked secret from their father that they had threatened to kill Joseph, selling him into slavery, and convincing their dad that Joseph was killed by a wild animal. In this week’s episode, the brothers suspect their sins have found them out. What will they do now? Come to Rockwell Church this Sunday to be encouraged to own your past, seek forgiveness and find closure from guilt, shame and fear. A great Sunday to bring a friend. #1 God brings you back to your true identity (Gen 42:1-5)
#2 God confronts you with truth about yourself (Gen 42:6-22)
#3 God shows you grace (Gen 42:23-28)
#4 God calls you to faith (Gen 42:29-38)
B. Closure can bring Confidence
#1 Confident we are righteous through faith in Christ (Phi 3:8-9)
#2 Confident we are free from condemnation (Rom 8:1)
