Plan Your First Visit
Join us for Sunday worship at 10:15 AM. During the school year, Sunday School begins at 9:00 AM, with classes for children, teens, and adults.
We’re located at 93 Midway Drive, Virginia, MN 55792, along Highway 53 near the Virginia-Eveleth border and the Rock Ridge School baseball fields.
Important parking and entrance information: The lower parking lot on Midway Drive, facing Highway 53, is actually at the back of our church building. Our main parking area and front entrance are up the hill on the opposite side of the building. To reach them, follow Mesabi Drive up the hill. It may seem like you’re driving behind the church, but that’s where you’ll find our main entrance. Park near the front doors and come on in. Someone will be glad to welcome you!

What to Expect on Sunday
Our church atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. You’ll see everything from jeans and shorts to business casual, so there’s no need to dress up. Just come as you are!
Our Sunday worship service includes Christ-centered music, prayer, and practical Bible teaching that connects God’s Word with everyday life. We’re a church family of about one hundred people, so you’ll find a welcoming atmosphere where people can get to know each other and build genuine friendships.
Come a little early if you’d like to meet people before worship. After the service, we usually have coffee and desserts, and many people enjoy staying awhile to visit and catch up with one another. It’s a great opportunity to meet Pastor Chris and others in our church family. You’re welcome to join us!

Who We Are
Rockwell Church is a Christ-centered, Bible-believing church family serving Virginia, Eveleth, Mountain Iron, Gilbert, and surrounding Iron Range communities in northern Minnesota. Our church’s roots go back to 1900, when Baptist churches were established in Eveleth and Virginia. In 1977, the congregations merged to become Emmanuel Baptist Church and built our present church building. In 2022, the congregation voted to adopt the name Rockwell Church, a fitting name for our Iron Range community.
Our name reflects our desire to help people build their lives on Jesus Christ, the Rock, and grow in WELL Faith:

We want to be a church where people experience genuine relationships, grow in their understanding of Scripture, and encourage one another to follow Jesus faithfully.
What We Believe
At Rockwell Church, we aim to be real, relevant, and relational while remaining firmly grounded in God’s Word. We believe the good news of Jesus Christ changes lives, and we want to help people understand and apply the Bible.
