When we talk about worship as part of living a well life in Christ, we aren’t just talking about sitting in a church worship service, singing worship songs or praying worshipful prayers. Scripture makes it clear that God is watching for true worshipers who will worship Him through the things they say and do in their everyday lives. Jesus says in John 4:23-24, “the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.” Come to Rockwell church this Sunday at 10:15 a.m. to be encouraged to pursue a daily lifestyle of worship as we look at some real practical ways that we can become more effective worshipers, the kind God seeks and rewards.
