We are privileged to have God’s revealed Word readily available in print, video, audio and online. There is so much to learn, discover and share with others. “Learning” is one of the purposes of our church. Learning experts tell us that we are truly understand a subject when we can teach it to others. The Bible is living and active and we can keep learning delightful truths as we grow in faith and knowledge throughout our lives. Jesus calls us to make disciples, teaching them to obey everything He has commanded. What are you learning and who are you teaching? Come to Rockwell Church this Sunday to discover key areas to learn and share as a disciple ready to reproduce more disciples. Join us Sunday at 10:15 am at 93 Midway Drive in Virginia, MN. A great Sunday to bring a friend.
Jesus was asked to summarize all that God desires from us and He said it’s to love God and love others. Many people are confused about what love really is and what God truly want us to be and do. Rockwell Church exists to connect people of all ages to Christ the Rock and our motivation needs to be the type of love Jesus showed us. Join us for an hour this Sunday at 10:15am at 93 Midway Drive in Virginia, MN for our worship and communion service. A great Sunday to bring a friend and be encouraged to live in love.

Rockwell Church exists to help people of all ages connect to Christ the ROCK and live WELL Lives through Worshiping, Encouraging, Learning and Loving. This week we are looking at why we need to give and receive encouragement.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 says, “So encourage each other and build each other up…”
And 2 Corinthians 13:11 instructs Christ-followers, “…Be Joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.”
Come to Rockwell Church this Sunday to see how God works to provide encouragement in our Christian experience and how He enables us to be encouragers. Join us Sunday at 10:15am at 93 Midway Drive in Virginia, MN. We encourage you to bring a friend.

The purpose of Rockwell Church is to Connect People of all ages to Christ the ROCK so that together we live W.E.L.L. lives through:
Worshipping Encouraging Learning Loving
When we talk about worship as part of living a well life in Christ, we aren’t just talking about sitting in a church worship service, singing worship songs or praying worshipful prayers. Scripture makes it clear that God is watching for true worshipers who will worship Him through the things they say and do in their everyday lives. Jesus says in John 4:23-24, “the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.” Come to Rockwell church this Sunday at 10:15 a.m. to be encouraged to pursue a daily lifestyle of worship as we look at some real practical ways that we can become more effective worshipers, the kind God seeks and rewards. No need to dress up, just show up and bring a friend.

A Daily Lifestyle of Worship
A. God is looking for worshipers (John 4:23-24)
B. Acceptable daily worship is awesome (Hebrews 12:28)
Worship is the believers’ response of all that they are—mind, emotions, will, and body—to what God is and says and does. This response has its mystical side in subjective experience and its practical side in objective obedience to God’s revealed will. Worship is a loving response that’s balanced by the fear of the Lord, and it is a deepening response as the believer comes to know God better. – Warren Wiersbe “Real Worship”
C. A worship lifestyle comes from what you think and do (Romans 12:1-2)
David’s Example of Worship (1 Sam 21:10-15)
After an unplanned and bizzarre life experience
#1 Praise & proclaim the Lord (Ps 34:1-3)
#2 Look to Him for help (Ps 34:4-6)
#3 Trust & fear Him (Psalm 34:7–11)
#4 Do right in front of Him (Ps 34:12-16)
#5 Endure with Him (Psalm 34:17–20)
#6 Serve Him (Psalm 34:21–22)

What does it really mean when we say, “Rockwell Church exists to connect people of all ages to Christ the Rock” as we are sharing what our church is all about? We know Jesus taught the wise person built his house on the rock (not the sand). And we know Jesus told Peter upon this rock He would build His church. And we know that 1 Cor 10:3-4 says, “…they drank from the spiritual rock that traveled with them, and that rock was Christ.” Come explore with us the imagery of Christ the Rock and be encouraged to find satisfaction and security in Him. Join us Sunday at 10:15am at 93 Midway Drive in Virginia, MN. A great Sunday to bring a friend.

Tony and Raeni Roos are native to the Iron Range and have spent many years swatting mosquitoes, eating porketta and wondering how the mines will do next year. Tony served in Minnesota and Wisconsin as youth pastor and Raeni worked in various jobs to support Tony’s youth ministry habit.
For the last ten years they have made the country of France their home, where they focus on ministry with the local church seeking to reach the lost with the Gospel of Christ and helping those who know Jesus to follow him fully.
Come to Rockwell Church and be encouraged as Tony and Raeni share stories of what God is up to in France and how God calls us all to “Be Present” with those around us so we can reveal Christ to all!
As our country pauses to remember how this nation prayed and fought for our independence, Pastor Chris takes Romans chapter 3 to encourage us to proclaim our in-dependence on Jesus to live effectively today and be confident in our eternal hope. Come to Rockwell Church this Sunday to be inspired to humbly pursue God’s desire for daily living and to have a positive influence in our nation. We will also have communion. Join us Sunday at 10:15am at 93 Midway Drive in Virginia, MN. No need to dress up – just show up!
