Membership

We want to make it easy for people to get the information they are looking for to see why they should become active members of Rockwell Church. Here you will find links you can follow to information and video clips on pages on our website. These are the things we would talk about if we were meeting together in person for a three-hour church membership meeting.

There is a 75-minute video series (8 videos under 10 minutes each) for this membership class that is password-protected on this website for copyright reasons.

This online membership page is a work in progress and we plan to keep updating it as needed. Please follow the links and let us know if you have any questions staff@rockwell.church

We would like you to follow the links to learn from the following pages:

  1. Purpose Statement
  2. Belief Statement
  3. Salvation
  4. Baptism
  5. Communion
  6. Membership Videos and Documents

We can give you a printed copy “Rockwell Church Constitution with Bylaws and Ministry Team Guidelines” if you want next time you are at church or we could email you a PDF copy (50 pages). You can also find links on our password protected Membership Class Page.

We are glad that you are taking time to consider becoming part of our church family by becoming an official church member.

You can find out more about Pastor Chris on the Leaders Page and see some of what our church does on Ministries Page and the Photo Gallery Page.

How to Become a Member

  1. Let Pastor Chris know you want to become a member.
  2. You may be able to transfer your membership from another church like ours (you may also be able to transfer your membership to another church in the future).
  3. Complete the membership class material, submit the membership application, and meet with the Pastor for a short interview.
  4. Schedule a time for believer’s baptism if you have not experienced that yet. Baptism is required for membership. Pastor Chris has a helpful resource to explain why we don’t practice infant baptism.
  5. The church membership will be notified at least two weeks before a special or regular business meeting that you have completed the requirements for membership so they can gather to vote on your membership and welcome you to our church family.
